Dear Bayside Parents,

Bayside will be a very busy place next week. We’ve sent out various invitations and reminders but here is the information for next week all in one place. We hope to see many of you at these events!

Bayside Art Show – On Monday May 7, from 5:30 – 7:30, Bayside Art Department will present a collection of works from our creative hardworking MS and HS Art classes.  Students have created works this year in drawing, sculpture, print, batik and painting and have chosen their favourites to show to you!  We have also invited SIS teachers to display the creative projects they have been working on.  SIS’s first post-it note gallery will also be on display – and you can contribute to it!    Please come and explore all the wonderful artworks, mingle with the artists and art teachers and get creative!

MS Spring Concert – The SIS 7th and 8th grade Band, Strings, and Choirs will be performing a spring concert on Tuesday, May 8th, at 6:30 in the Bayside amphitheater.  Our MS musicians have prepared a program of popular and classical music that includes a special band and choir finale.  You are cordially invited, and we look forward to seeing you there.  Admission is free.
