We learned three lessons in one today!!
1. We learned that shapes are in our everyday environment.
2. We learned how to use the ipad camera to take photos of these shapes.
3. We learned how to share the ipad and work together as a team to find the shapes.
Math / Technology / ESLR’s….whew! What a class!!
We began learning about sorting. We had to work in small groups, collaboratively, to sort the variety of blocks, cubes and other manipulatives. Each person in the group had to choose a color and then find and sort according to their colour. At the end each group was clearly able to see the variety of colors that were inside and what they looked like when they were sorted.
Today we learned the nursery rhyme Humpty Dumpty. We began looking at the rhyming words in the rhyme. We then began to make a Humpty Dumpty craft activity which we will use as part of another literacy activity tomorrow.
Tonight we will bring home the Humpty Dumpty nursery rhyme to practise reading with you.
