The students are showing a great understanding of how stations work and the general rules they need to follow. The stations we participated in were mat play, soft balls, hula hoops, and ladders.

I am starting to challenge the students with what they can do at each station. I kept the same stations this week but helped expand their creativity with what they can do with the equipment.

Kindergarten. We started class with a throwing and catching activity. This activity allowed all class members an opportunity to throw and catch the ball to help their team in a friendly competition. I saw many students use their thinking skills about what they should do to successfully throw and catch the ball. We then moved on to stations. The stations they participated in were hitting a target with a ball, jumping rope, catching a ball with a cone, and basketball.
