Mrs. Jeannie Sung’s career in education spans over 20 years, including the last 12 years as Principal. In her most recent position before joining Shekou International School, Mrs. Sung served as the Middle School Principal at a suburban school district in Illinois.
Mrs. Sung’s experience in education includes working as a teacher and administrator in the Chicago suburban-area public school systems, Indonesia, Korea, and China. She holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration and is currently a doctoral candidate working on her dissertation. In addition, she has several years of experience working for a major U.S. publishing company in the area of educational test development.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and four children. She enjoys listening to music and sharing stories over a meal or hot cup of coffee. Mrs. Sung enjoys collaborating with her professional learning network and building strong relationships with her students and school community at Shekou International School!
