City X Project and 3D Printing

Students have been working on the City X Project. This project presents them with a fictional planet and fictional characters who need specific problems solved. The students are responsible to create a fix to their characters problem. We have been using the design thinking process to understand the problem, ideating by drawing pictures, prototyping by using clay and then using a program on the laptops called tinkercad to help design their final 3D image to be printed. There is so much excitement happening in the room during this time and students are at all different points in the process. Take a look at some of our work.
