We had a great time last week with all of the Book Week activities. A HUGE thanks to Mrs. Livingston and all of the PSA parents who organized everything! (See below for the pictures from the Breakout Box session on Friday.)
This Thursday is the Grade 5 Concert! This is a special night, and students should dress NICELY. This means no jeans or sweat pants/track suits or tennis shoes. Basically, if they would wear it for PE, they shouldn’t be wearing it to the concert. Students need to be in the classroom by 4:45 p.m. Please have them here on time.
Speaking of being on time, please remember that students should be at school by 7:50 a.m. everyday. This allows for classes to start right at 8:00 a.m. Thanks for your help with this.
This week is our math test on multiplying and dividing fractions and decimals. Students need to be able to read a story problem and determine if they should multiply or divide. A review sheet will be going home tomorrow.
For our PYP unit, students are narrowing down the issue that they will be researching and taking action on.
