Week 20 @PreK1a, Brave Bears – What can you create?

Creativity is the product of imagination.

Last week, the Brave Bears’ imagination was challenged. They were asked, “What can you create with stick and stone?” This prompt was inspired by the story Stick and Stone by Beth Ferry and Tom Lichtenheld.

Here are some of what the Brave Bears created with “Stick and Stone”. We’ll post all the Brave Bears work next week.

Stick, Stone. A perfect…

The Brave Bears also demonstrated their ability to represent thinking and creativity through illustrations.

Lastly, the Brave Bears added problem-solving skills to show creativity using Lego and blocks.

Next week, the Brave Bears will continue to explore learning materials and participate in learning engagements that will help them develop problem-solving skills, such as creating with open-ended materials and playing games with rules where they need to figure out how to their team complete the task.
