Week 33 @PreK1a, Brave Bears – Read with a traveling Bear and cool down with watermelon popsicle
Last week, the Brave Bears spent most of their week with their new found friend, Mateo the traveling reading bear. Meteo’s main goal is to inspire young children to love reading. Meteo’s visit was short but worthwhile. Here are the Brave Bears moments with Mateo.
Storytime with Mateo.

Create with clay with Mateo.
Number hunting with Mateo,
…and making watermelon popsicle with Mateo.
The Brave Bears were involved in the whole process of making the watermelon popsicle. From cutting the watermelon to juicing it, then pour the juice into the cup and put it into the fridge, and of course in eating it! 🙂
Next week, the Brave Bears will continue to practice for the PreK-1 End of the Year celebration. We hope that you can all come and watch the Brave Bears’ last performance of the year and their last “splash” party. Please send your child to school wearing their swimsuit on that day, we will move to the small playground right after the performance. We are looking forward to the snack you are sharing on the day.
