Week 2 @Prek1a – the Super Sharks
Two weeks of wait for a class name is worth it! Because the children are more settled and start to show common interest. 🙂 The Super Sharks are beginning to build a learning community where they can connect and build a good relationship with others.
Also, the Super Sharks are starting to demonstrate what they can do.
In addition, through play, the Super Sharks begin to strengthen their fine motor skills which are vital in developing self-help skills.
Lastly, the Super Sharks has taken a picture with their birthday buddies (those who have birthday buddies). Their help and creativity will be needed in putting togehter a birthday chart. Will take more of the birthday buddies next week.
The plan next week is are to;
- Learn about safety, such as the evacuation drill procedure, proper handling of a pair of scissors when walking and passing to a friend, and how to play safely
- Create a birthday chart,
- and continue to learn each others’ name through games.
