The little Bunnies are exited to start their year in the Nursery.
It’s going to be a year full of new adventures, exploring and learning.
The first weeks in school are not easy for most of the children as they need to adjust to new environment and new Teachers, all the teachers are doing their best to make the transition as smooth as possible.
1 tbsp Glycerine
(in place of design dazzle’s secret ingredient)
To make your bubble mixture:
Dissolve the cornstarch in the water, stirring really well. Then gently stir in the remaining ingredients. Avoid creating a lot of froth. Allow your mixture to sit for at least an hour, stirring occasionally if you see the cornstarch settling to the bottom.
It was a lot of fun making the bubbles mixture and then trying to make the big bubbles:
Trying to make a paint the rising in the microwave, we mixed flour, food coloring and baking powder and then used it to draw on a white paper. After finish to draw we put it in the microwave for 30 second and: puff…… it’s rising on the paper.
It’s Giggly Jelly Fish time in the little Bunnies class!
We were making tiny holes inside a paper bowls, and the children needs to push the pipe cleaner inside the holes, they need to hold it by the end and try to push it into the tiny hole, for some of them it was quite easy but some of them really needs to make an effort to sit and concentrate to be able to put the pipe cleaner inside the hole.
This activity is a very good activity for the children to practice the small muscles in their hands.
We are busy exploring water and giving the children many activities related to water. Today we gave the children green beans and clear cups (to see the seeds growing). first the children decorate their cups, then put tissue paper inside it and pour some water on the paper for the seeds to drink, last step is to sprinkle seeds on the paper and wait to see if it’s going to sprout?
Today Mrs. Naama brought some tadpoles that she caught in her garden. We put the tadpoles in a big plastic box and watched how they swim and checked their body parts. The small baby frogs have only a tail and round body.
Mrs. Naama explained us about the frogs life cycle and show us some picture of tadpoles and frogs. We need to be patient, feed the tadpoles with lettuce and see how they grow their legs and changing into frogs:
