Hello! My name is Paula Brunning and I am your new HS Counselor. Feel free to call me Ms. Brunning or Ms. B.
It’s a pleasure joining SIS and I look forward to getting to know each student. The year has gotten off to a busy start, with Seniors beginning university applications, Grade 11 students settling in to their courses for the diploma program, Grade 10 students being introduced to the PSAT and Grade 9 students becoming familiar with high school routines. Congratulations to our new STUCO representatives, and all our student leaders who helped make our first Activities Fair a success. Advisory groups will be finalizing their plans for Beach Retreat, ready for a fun filled Friday off campus.
As the year progresses, I will use this site to inform you of the many university visits to SIS, provide standardized testing information as well as offering tips on wellness. Let me know if there is something you would like to see here.
Being new, things may not be as they were before. I am also learning and if you need something, don’t wait – let me know. My door is always open and I am very happy to hear your ideas and suggestions. My office is at the end of the hallway on Level 3 so stop by soon!
