It is a busy week this week!

For the ice skating field trip this Wednesday, remember that students need to bring either 50 RMB for lunch at McDonald’s or a packed lunch. They also need to wear a RED SIS shirt, a jacket, and a helmet. Thick socks (or 2 pairs) and gloves are highly recommended.

For “Books ‘N’ Cocoa” Spirit Day, students should come to school in their pajamas and need to bring in their own mug. Students should also make sure they have a good choice book to read. A blanket and stuffed animal are allowed but please no pillows. For part of the day, 5B will be watching the movie “Wonder” based on the book by R.J. Palacio that we finished reading aloud last week.

Please sign up to bring something for the Grade 5 Holiday Party on Friday. HERE is the link.
Thanks to all who have signed up already!

    “Dear SIS community,

This Friday, December 14, we will be taking an all-school commemorative photograph as part of our 30th anniversary celebration.

Parents are invited to join our students and teachers for this photograph which marks this milestone at 9:00 am on the Jingshan sports field. The plan is to assemble everyone into a giant 3-0 which will be marked out on the field, and to take the photograph using a drone.

If you plan to join, may we please ask you to wear a red, white or black shirt (or jacket/sweater) – so that the photograph truly embodies our school colors.

As we would like to get students back to their classrooms as efficiently as possible, and given the early release from school that day, may we kindly request parents to remain on the field until the students have left.

    Thank you for your support.

In celebration of 30 years of quality education in Shenzhen!
