Sports really are more than the balls that we bounce, more than the sweat on our face. You have found the deeper lessons that bound right off of the court and into your life. Really awesome, Chloe.

I like your topic, “it’s more than just a game.” I liked this topic because I think if someone reads this topic they will care about their own teammates than the game.

Sports is never just a game. You might look back and just say it’s a game but when you play you feel like the your life depends on it and when you lose it scars you. Thank you Chloe for sharing this story with us.

I really liked how you included the soccer match and the debrief, stress, and excitement, during the penaltys

    Hi Chloe,
I thought your podcast perfectly described what team sports really mean. When you are on the court, it isn’t just a game.

I really liked your title “It’s more than a game”. And that is true. Team sport really isn’t about getting first or second place in a game, it’s more about the relationship and the trust you built with your team mates. I also liked how you included some of your own experience in your podcast.

I really like your last sentence – it held all your beliefs and went through my thoughts. This is like a response to the sentence “It’s just a game.” so everyone could somehow be connected to the words you said.

I could see hoe much you think sport is important to you through your opinions and emotions, and all of your experiences are so valuablele to you XD.

I love you metaphors and how you show how important sports is in your life. You used strong phrases to show how much this means to you and the role that it plays in your life.

    Hi Chloe,
For me, as a person who never really enjoyed sports, this has changed my perspective. For me, sports really is just a game, but your podcast has changed this for me. I can see how sports can mean so much more, and how it could be your family. I especially liked how you said sports is just like art, and is “creativity amongst skills and stradegies.” Your story opened up a new window for me.

I think your podcast was inspiring, because I don’t really like sports, but while I listened to your podcast, I could be in the other perspective and think about how sports can also be crucial to some people. I enjoyed listening to this, and thank you for sharing this.

Good work on describing the penalty kicks in soccer. I can really connect to my fencing, never giving up. Believing in yourself/ team. I liked how you talked about why you love sports. Good job!

Your podcast is very interesting. You should maybe describe more about how you became inspired by basketball. It was good having short stories and I could connect to you since my father is a fan of baseball and wanted me to love baseball. In addition, it was very new since I am a person that does not really love sports and you have inspired me to

    Dear Chloe,
I think your podcast was really inspiring. I love how you added your emotion when you played the first basketball game and the last soccer match you had. I thought sport was just a game and a competition. However, after I heard this podcast, I believe it’s not. Your speaking tone was also calm and gentle, which made me focus on your podcast. Good job.

    Hi Chloe,

I like your video about it’s more than just a game. I agree that we want to win and sometimes we give up. Tears fall sometimes after a lost. I agree. I like sports too. Things can’t always go well and you win all the time. Sometimes games teach you to never give up. Working with a helpful team and cheering for them can help them realise it too. Your podcast was terribly good. Good Job!

I like your topic because it can relate to lots of students and adults. Many students just think it is about winning and being the best. I think you point was really good and saying what is really important about sports.
