Hi, Alisa, I really like how you use music to let go of your stress, I alway do that. Whenever I’m annoyed by class work or homework or other things, I’ll always listen to some hip-pop music, I would dance to the song. Whenever I dance with music, I’ll forget about everything.

This is so relatable! Whenever I’m stressed or sad I always listen to music. I like how you said “Music is a cure.” It is true! I have 2 older brothers who would always go through stress and I agree, I htought it wasn’t that bad!

I really liked how you used repetition and described how it makes even the shy people sing now that I listened to your podcast I wanna know what’s your favorite song?

You had a lot of golden lines that made me think deeply about how music affects me in my life. I also like how you used description, and then transitioned to these poetic sentences about music. Your essay made me realize how important music was to me and the impact it has on my life 🙂

I like how you started out talking about the negative emotions that people feel, and then you said later how it affected you. It kinda builds up until you use music while you were stressed, and how it helped. I thought that was cool. Also, now I am thinking maybe music can really help.

You came into middle school, not knowing of the feelings and the changes you would have to make. You felt stress and nervousness, but you found something that helped, music. You should always remember you childhood, no one ever really stops becoming a child, inside we are all immature and childish.

Such vivid imagery to describe the ups and downs of middle school and a positive way to cope with it – music. Reminds me of my own middle school days many moons ago. So glad you’ve found your song – may there always be a song for you to get you through even the most challenging of days…
