What a fantastic hook, Leanne! Excellent lead-in to your story. Beautiful metaphors, listing, rhetorical questions, alliteration, hyperbole, imagery… “power of passing time”… “kindness of passing time”… absolutely stunning, Leanne.
Leanne, every set back and every wonderful time through life is short. How much time you want to experience lifes moments through memories and sharing with others, is alway your choice. We have enjoyed experiencing travels and school events with you through the past three years. Memories that will last through the End of the World for our lives.
Wonderful poem! Lots of rhyme, metaphor, imaginary. It has really good sentence and makes me imagine.I can imagine your hard times and easy times. I can imagine how you went through your hard times and the time passing
You probably don’t know me, but I really loved all the touching phrases. You made me believe to be patient, to absorb every moment before it passes. Great job!
So descriptive, I was so into your story~
Such a beautiful story, Leanne! I agree that it’s never the end of the world.
I agree, Leanne.
“The word felt smooth, as it glided through my mind as it repeated…” The word play, the building of theme throughout, the pacing, the wisdom… Tremendous work Leanne, this is a tremendous portrait of your inner strength.
Thank you so much for sharing this!
I like the story,great job!
What a great story!
It is true that it’s NEVER the “end of the world”

Wow, this is incredible, you used great rhyming and the words you used are great and they build up during the whole essay. I think that it is very descriptive and I love how you made something that happens in everyday life into a very descriptive interesting. I think that your portrait is also incredible and I really like the connection between your essay and your portrait.I really like your ending ” I believe it is not the end of the world.” I think that this was very good and very deep. Overall I think that you did an amazing job.
WOW!! such an amazing story. Through my life, i have always been stressed about the test, but the more relaxed the better I did. This relates so much to the world.
Thank you so much for sharing this with us.
I love the emotion and description that was included in this story. The reality realisation that was exposed from the mind to the mouth was amazing. The way you made the story, made it that much more indulging, your method of writing was a major hook. Well Done.
I thought it was really good and I really liked it, your golden line for me was why did I have to act like everything was lolypops and rainbows.i really like the emotion you put in
Wow. I really love all your metaphors and your essay made me think about how I could incorporate that in my life. You had a lot of golden lines that stood out to me and your story had the perfect balance of anecdotes and poetic lines about your belief.
I really liked your peice because I could relate to it. If I make a mistake that makes us lose in sports or if I make a stupid mistake on a test and fail I always feel sick and as Anxious and I feel like those moments are gonna last and somehow by failing something my whole life will also fail but then time flys by and next second I know I’m laughing and enjoying my self. This reminded me of that. It’s amazing
I really like your podcast, thank you.
Your piece is one of a kind, it absolutely changed the way I thought about everything. How you should learn to forgive, and to forget. How you should move on in life, that it’s never too late and it won’t be the end of the world. You wrote about how you may have failed the first test, but you enjoyed life, that’s what truly mattered.
“The darkest time of the night, is just before the break of dawn.” Wow. A wonderful piece to celebrate the time that passes with the people you care about, Leanne.
I loved your piece. I like how you started with the anecdote about your failed test. You showed me once again, how its not the end of the world. Good things will come. Everything will pass. This podcast taught me how time teaches you to forgive and forget. thanks for sharing this.
I enjoyed listening to this, because the descriptions were so detailed, and there were a lot of Golden lines here. I was drawn into the story. I think how you told the story was really nice. One line that I really liked was the line that said “The darkest time of night is just before the break of dawn”, I like this quote a lot, and I really like how you used this quote. Thanks for sharing this with us 🙂
Thanks for sharing. The descriptions were so nice and easy to imagine.
Ireally love the last sentence of your podcasts!
I really liked your piece and I love the way you read. I almost fell in to your piece.. I think this is one of the best podcast that I have been hear. I like how you start by telling your expericence. How you’d feel when you thought it’s end of the world. Also those details that you were using, it really made me crazy. When I just listened to only few sentence, I thought you copied down from a book. It was amazing and good job!
I learnt something from this piece now, that it’s never the end of the world, so thanks. Also, the line “the darkest time of night is just before the break of dawn”, that sounded cool.
I liked how you looked at the positive side always. Also that you made the negative to positive. I wish I was like you. I would just cry because of the F and never look at the bright side. I would think it is the end of the world. GOOD JOB!!!
It kind of reminds me of how I tend to think of what happened to me in the past. It’s mostly because I don’t have much going on in my life.
Your voice is strong and your ideas are stronger. “Kindness of passing time” is a lovely phrase to describe…Not the end of the world. Thank you for spending the time to collect your thoughts and share them with us!
