I was out on the stage and when got to my seat there was like 10,00 people!
When the song started pa pa pa then I played my piece and I thought I was getting everything wrong but they said that I was the best one in there.

I liked how you described the lady in the room with nice little details. This also reminds me of my first piano exam a long time ago.

I liked your story when you described you nervous on top of the stage when you are trying to play your violin. And I was also nervous when I was going to do singing assembly like you when you played your violin!

As a violinist who also went through the ABRSM violin exam, I immediately felt your pressure as I listen to your story. I felt the same intensity and atmosphere as I enter the waiting room and exam room as I heard your intro. I still remember those words examiner told me: “Please play A harmonic minor scales in staccato”
I’m glad that you went through your stress and challenge as you play through your strong pieces.

Wonderful story! I loved how you use sensory details to describe the rooms and people, like the glossy wooden-boards and the glasses balanced on the bridge of the examiners nose. It really made the story alluring and much more picturesque. It felt like i was there with you in the room, feeling your nervousness. I also liked your use of recalling the scenes from before and imitating the voices, it gave more voice and context to the story. Beautiful story brimming with emotion.
