Who We Are: Keeping Self Healthy

Health is wealth.

PreK-1 children have been learning how to keep themselves healthy. It has become a culture of the class to wash hands when coming from outside.

Healthy eating is also promoted in school through cooking/making healthy food such as fresh juice, fruit kebabs, and banana smoothies. Through cooking, the children also learn to keep their hands clean all the time and cover their mouth when they sneeze. Cooking also helps the children to develop self-help, math and literacy skills. In addition, cooking enhances social skills like taking turns and collaboration.
