Learning Safety at SIS!

Our Kindergarten to Grade 2 students are currently learning and practicing how to be safe at SIS. They’re being introduced to basic transitioning rules (crossing streets, listening to TAs/teachers, keeping hands/feet to oneself), “Stranger Danger,” and “critter” procedures (snakes, stray cats/dogs, geckos, mice). They are practicing their newly learned skills through answering scenario questions, as well as playing a “snake game.”

Please encourage your students to use their critical thinking skills to solve problems and stay safe at SIS and in the larger community. It’s a group effort to enhance our learners’ use of their skills!
