Earth Week
During Earth Week we read stories about keeping our natural environment clean. We talked about how keeping our environment clean, we can keep people and animals safe and healthy. Putting our garbage in the trash and not on the ground, is one way The Laser Bugs agreed that we could be responsible for our environment. We also agreed that it was important to keep our school clean. We decided to walk around our Mountianside campus to check for garbage.
Rose’s Butterflies
During the break Rose visited Ever Green Park. She brought her framed butterflies into show her friends. The children loved looking at the butterflies and came up with many theories of how they may have died and how they got inside the frame. This sharing moment became a great learning opportunity, we had many discussions on the children’s ideas and we did some observational drawing.
