All About Me!

Hi!

Now that you have read about me through the Origami Blogger, you might be wondering about me some more! So where should I negation begin? I was born in Vancouver BC, in Canada but nowadays I live in Shenzhen, China. My birthday is in July 20th, 2004. As you probably already know, I LOVE origami, especially Star Wars origami. I specialize in making Star Wars finger puppets and Nakamura Locks (a type of paper airplane). Here’s something you might NOT know about me-I play hockey! Ice hockey! And no, I’m not a lazy goalkeeper-I’m a left defenceman! Playing hockey is a little tough and hard for me. Not because I’m weak, but because I inherited my mom’s condition-if I don’t eat enough before exercising intensely, I could get a headache or even puke. It has happened to me before in 1st Grade. 🙁
Talking about 1st Grade, how do I do in school, you ask? Not to brag, but I’m pretty good at spelling. I also read a lot. My favorite books are The Origami Yoda Series. They’re pretty stooky! (If you want to find out what that means, you’ll have to read it.) The series are the start of my origami “career”. They also have origami instructions in every book! The website for the series is even more stooky! It has a lot more instructions than the books, and fans called SuperFolders can post their own instructions, which is more stooky! The site is here: http://origamiyoda.com (you can also access it through a shortcut on the Origami Blogger).
Now since I talk (and post) about origami so much, you might be wondering and trying to ask me about it! Well, here are some questions you might give and the answers to them:

Q: When did you start doing origami? A: Trimester 3, fourth grade.

Q: What do you like about origami? A: How you can really fiddle around the paper and how it has so many different shapes-after all, that’s what makes it interesting, eh?

Q: What’s you best piece of origami? A: An origami R2-D2. I used silver and white paper, and I actually CUT out all the droid bits and parts, so it was quite hard to make. It turned out as the best piece of origami I’ve ever made! Unfortunately I lost it. 🙁

One of my other big interests is MINECRAFT! I’m really good at it (according to my friends), Survival mode or Creative. Check out my city that me and my friends made here, or just check out my Minecraft Category here.

Enjoy your day!

Loring
